America must keep the strongest military in the world. Peace comes through strength. Weakness invites aggression. We saw the world at peace during President Trump’s first term, and the last four years under Biden have been quite the opposite. When totalitarian regimes and terrorist states see weakness, they take advantage of it. President Trump’s decisive actions against Iran and in Venezuela have sent a clear message: don’t mess with the United States.
China is our greatest long-term threat — economically, militarily, and technologically. Steve advocates for substantial defense investments in areas where China is gaining ground: hypersonic missiles, cyber capabilities, unmanned systems, and naval strength. He strongly supports Wyoming’s military bases and the National Guard, and he will fight to ensure our troops maintain technological and firepower superiority over any adversary.
Steve supports President Trump’s effort to end Russia’s war against Ukraine without writing blank checks, and he fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism. He opposes nation building and open-ended military interventions. American servicemembers should fight to win, not referee civil wars. America First does not mean America without allies. It means we must maintain strong alliances and require our allies to carry their fair share of the defense burden.
