Career politicians who never leave Washington have built up $37 trillion in debt and created a dysfunctional government. The Washington swamp, where bureaucrats, politicians, and lobbyists thrive at the expense of the American people, needs to be drained. Steve is not a career politician. He’s a businessman and political outsider running because he believes President Trump has shown that people from outside politics can step up and make a real difference.
Steve advocates for congressional term limits. He supports banning career politicians from becoming lobbyists after leaving Congress and proposes a law stating that if Congress doesn’t pass a budget, members won’t get paid. He backs election integrity reforms, including the SAVE Act, to require proof of citizenship for registering and photo ID to vote, because voting should be easy and cheating should be hard.
